Easter Basket


Things you will need:
48 peg Cindwood loom 5/8 or 48 peg knifty knitter loom
spool loom for the icord to make the the handle
loom hook
I used 2 strand of worst weight yarn #4
A yarn needle 
On the 48 peg loom place stitch markers pegs 1, 7,13, 19, 25, 31, 37, 43, This will indicate the stitch pattern start of every multiple of 6.

How to Ewrap knit cast on
How to Ewrap knit
How to Purl
How to bind off by using the drawstring cast off
How to make an Icord

Pattern:


Basket base

Ewrap cast on all 48 pegs in the round.
Rows 1-16  Purl 2 pegs, Ewrap knit 2 pegs. Purl 2 pegs. Repeat this stitch pattern 7 time to complete each row.
Row 17  Picking up first row of stitches and place them back on the pegs then Ewrap and knit 2 over one just the like you would do making a brim for a hat.
Row 18 Ewrap knit
Rows 19 to 26 Ewrap knit 1, Purl 4, Ewrap knit 1.  Repeat this stitch pattern 7 time to complete each row.
Rows 27 & 28 Ewrap knit
Rows 29 to 36 Purl 2 pegs, Ewrap knit 2 pegs. Purl 2 pegs. Repeat this stitch pattern 7 time to complete each row.
Rows 37 & 38 Ewrap knit
Rows  39 to 46 Ewrap knit 1, Purl 4, Ewrap knit 1.  Repeat this stitch pattern 7 time to complete each row.
Rows 47 & 48 Ewrap knit
Rows 49 to 56 Purl 2 pegs, Ewrap knit 2 pegs. Purl 2 pegs. Repeat this stitch pattern 7 time to complete each row.
Rows 57 & 58 Ewrap knit 
Bind off by using the drawstring cast off. 


Basket handle

Using the spool loom with the side that has 5 pegs and make an icord about 17 inches long to be hand sew inside on the brim,
