Things you will need:
41 peg knifty knitter loom
loom hook
I used 2 different colors of Premier yarns by Deborah Norville, the Serenity chunky Weight #5. Color A was Apple Orchard and Color B was Crayon Box. If you only want to use one color of yarn. That is optional too.
Stitch marker (optional)

Techniques you will need to know:
How to Yarn over cast on
How to U-knit
How to Purl
How to Double Ewrap knit
How to Cast off by using the modified drawstring cast off.

Pattern:

Using color "A"  Apple Orchard

Place slip knot on peg 1 and yarn over cast on pegs 2 to 41.
Rows 1 to 26 work rib stitch U knit 1, Purl 1, etc (Peg 41 Purl).
Row 27 Pick up the first row of loops and then place the loops back on the pegs. Just like making a brim, U knit (2 loops over 1)
Optional: Cut yarn can switch to color "B" Crayon Box
