Bamboo Waffle hat

Things you will need:

Yellow Knifty knitter 41 peg loom
Loom hook

For the colorful hat I used one strand Scarf Yarn knitting kit I found at target a few years ago and for the Mint Green hat I used two stands of a baby yarn #3

I used Stitch markers on pegs on every 3rd peg as in pegs 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39. I used different type stitch markers on pegs 40 and 41 due to those going to purls pegs through the pattern.
A yarn needle (optional)

1x1 Rib stitch pattern

My Version of Waffle stitch pattern. Rows 1 to 3 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.

Row 4 Purl 

Pattern:
Crochet cast on all 41 pegs in the round
Rows 1 to 12 Uknit 1, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Rows 13 & 14 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 15 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs, U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 16 to 18 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 19 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs, U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 20 to 22 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 23 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 24 to 26 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.

Row 27 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs, U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 28 to 30 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.

Row 31 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs, U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 32 to 34 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.

Row 35 Purl
Rows 36 to 38 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 39 Purl

Rows 40 to 42 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.

Row 43 Purl
Rows 44 to 46 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 47 Purl

Rows 48 to 50 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.

Rows 52 to 54 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 55 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 56 to 58 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 59 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs, U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 60 to 62  Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 63 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs, U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 64 to 66 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.

Row 67 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs, U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 68 to 70 Uknit , Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 71 Slip stitch with yarn in front 2 pegs, U knit 1, repeat this to the end of the row. Purl pegs 40 and 41.

Rows 72 to 74 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 75 Purl
Rows 76 to 78 Uknit 2, Purl 1 to the end of the rows.
Row 79 Purl

Bind off by flat drawstring cast off and weave in stragglers.
