Loom hook
I used a little under 2 skeins of Red Heart Boutique Boulevard #7 in the colors Society(dark purple) and Veranda (light purple)

Techniques you will need to know:
How to Yarn over cast on
How to U-knit
How to Purl
How to bind off using the modified drawstring cast off
Pattern:
Number pegs 1 to 41
Set row counter
Place slip knot on pegs 3 and yarn over cast on pegs 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
Row 1 Skip peg 8 U knit back to peg 3.
Row 2 Skip peg 3 U knit back to peg 8.
Repeat Row 1 and 2 until you get to 40 rows, Find first row of loops and place them on pegs 12, 13,14, 15, 16 and 17.
Cut yarn leave about 6 inches to weave in later.
Reset row counter
Place slip knot on pegs 24 and yarn over cast on pegs 25,26, 27,28, and 29.
Row 1 Skip peg 29 U knit back to peg 24.
Row 2 Skip peg 24 U knit back to peg 29.
Repeat Row 1 and 2 until you get to 40 rows, Find first row of loops and place them on pegs 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38.
Cut yarn leave about 6 inches to weave in later.
Reset row counter again
Place slip knot on peg 1 yarn over cast on peg 2.
U-knit pegs 3 to 8, yarn over cast on pegs 9 to 11.
U-knit pegs 12 to 17, yarn over cast on pegs 18 to 23.
U knit pegs 24 to 29, yarn over cast on pegs 30 to 32.
U-knit pegs 33 to 38 and then yarn over cast on pegs 39 to 41.
U-knit pegs 3 to 8, yarn over cast on pegs 9 to 11.
U-knit pegs 12 to 17, yarn over cast on pegs 18 to 23.
U knit pegs 24 to 29, yarn over cast on pegs 30 to 32.
U-knit pegs 33 to 38 and then yarn over cast on pegs 39 to 41.
Row 1 & 2 U-knit.Row 3 to 22 U-knit 1, Purl 1, repeat to the end the row (Purl peg 41).
Row 23 to 26 U-knit 4, Purl 4, repeat to the end the row (Purl peg 41).
Row 27 to 30 Purl 4, U-knit 4, repeat to the end the row (U-knit peg 41).
Row 31 to 34 U-knit 4, Purl 4, repeat to the end the row (Purl peg 41).
Row 35 to 38 Purl 4, U-knit 4, repeat to the end the row (U-knit peg 41).
Row 39 to 42 U-knit 4, Purl 4, repeat to the end the row (Purl peg 41).
Row 43 to 46 Purl 4, U-knit 4, repeat to the end the row (U-knit peg 41).
Optional cut yarn and change colors.
Row 47 U knit.
Row 48 U-knit 1, Purl 1, repeat to the end the row (U-knit peg 41).
Row 49 Purl 1, U-knit 1, repeat to the end the row (Purl peg 41).
Row 50 U-knit 1, Purl 1, repeat to the end the row (U-knit peg 41).
Row 51 Purl 1, U-knit 1, repeat to the end the row (Purl peg 41).
Row 52 U-knit 1, Purl 1, repeat to the end the row (U-knit peg 41).
Row 53 Purl 1, U-knit 1, repeat to the end the row (Purl peg 41).
Row 54 U-knit 1, Purl 1, repeat to the end the row (U-knit peg 41).
Row 55 Purl 1, U-knit 1, repeat to the end the row (Purl peg 41).

Cast off by using the modified drawstring cast off.
Then weave in stragglers and use.
