Things you will need.
Red Knifty Knitter loom or 31 peg loom
4 - 1inch buttons
Crochet hook(s)
Embroidery floss
Loom pick
Size 4 yarn doubled or higher size of yarn. Because for my first one I used red heart yarn soft white yarn doubled and it came out smaller them my 2nd one I used the Bernet baby blanket yarn and that one came out bigger.
Number your pegs
Stitch markers optional
Pattern:
Crochet cast on 31 pegs.
Row 1 knit back to peg 1. (flat pannel knitting.)
Row 2 purl.
Row 3 Knit peg 30. Move the loop that is on peg 29 over to peg 28 and knit two together. Basically, once you have the two loops on there, wrap the peg like you would with knitting and knit the bottom two loops over. . Keep knitting until you reach peg 3. Take the loop off of peg 3 and place onto peg 2, knit two together like you did for peg 28. Knit the last peg in that row.
Row 4 purl all pegs but when you get to pegs 3 & 29 Ewrap them.
Row 5 knit.
Row 6 purl.
Row 7 Knit peg 30. Move the loop that is on peg 29 over to peg 28 and knit two together. Basically, once you have the two loops on there, wrap the peg like you would with knitting and knit the bottom two loops over. . Keep knitting until you reach peg 3. Take the loop off of peg 3 and place onto peg 2, knit two together like you did for peg 28. Knit the last peg in that row.
Row 8 purl all pegs but when you get to pegs 3 & 29 Ewrap them.
Row 9 knit.
Row 10 purl.
Row 11 knit.
Row 12 bind off pegs 1,2,3,& 4. Knit Pegs 5 to 31.
Row 13 bind off pegs 31,30,29,& 28. Knit pegs 27 to 5.
Rows 14-29 you will be decreasing the last stitches on each side by moving the loop from the first peg over to the peg next to it and move the loop on the last peg in the row over to the peg next to it. Knit over and continue the process as you work your way to the middle of the loom. There should be 9 pegs with loops when you are done with row 29.
Row 30-42 knit 12 rows,
Row 43-57 You will be increasing as you work each row. As you work back and forth, wrap an extra empty peg on each side until you end on pegs 5 and 27.
Row 58 knit.
Row 59 purl.
Row 60 knit.
Row 61 purl.
Row 62 knit.
Row 63 purl.
Row 64 knit.
Row 65 purl.
Row 66 knit.
Row 67 purl.
Row 68 knit.
Cast off using the super stretchy binding.
Hide in stragglers and sew on buttons.
